Patrick,

The 2-T works awesome! We came across a bike, hooked it and brought it to the surface. Here's a photo of the bike, the ROV and 2-T Recovery Tool:

Looks like a great idea. Any videos of how it works? Is the small white line separate or attached to the tether?

Here is a short video showing a recovery of a bike using the 2-T (along with some other items...)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dBkC4F-EVE

In this case the line (rated at over 400lbs breaking strength) is tended to the surface. Depending on the weight of what you're trying to retrieve, you could tie it off to the tether.

Patrick,

I though you'd be interested in seeing how successful the '2-T' has been. On a recent job, we were able to search for, locate and then recover a scientifc package using the 2-T recovery tool. We had quite a few folks who didn't believe the gear would be able to handle 800lbs (even though it's rated to 2 Tons). Here's a link to the Video on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZSziLXev6g

Thanks again for designing an easy to use and successful tool.
